Obsidium ore can be mined in World of Warcraft: Cataclysm zones from Obsidium deposits. A mining skill of 425 is required. It can also be fished from Shipwreck Debris pools on Tol Barad Peninsula.
Obsidium ore can be prospected for gems used in Jewelcrafting, or smelted into Obsidium Bars used to craft a variety of items for various professions.
