Norana Morninglight is a night elf serving the Druids of the Flame in the Emerald Dream during the war against the Primalists. Tyrande Whisperwind described Norana as being kind, compassionate, and quiet before her radicalization into the Druids of the Flame,[1][2] but then became zealous.[3]
Background
Norana Morninglight trained at the Temple of the Moon in Darnassus shortly after the birth of Teldrassil and was believed dead by Tyrande Whisperwind.[1] Norana turned to the flame after the burning of Teldrassil.[3] Allied with Fyrakk, she sent word to Firodren Dawncaller and his forces to begin their work and prepare for the arrival in the Emerald Dream.[4]
Eventually, she came to the Dream as well where she attempted to burn the Sor'theril Barrow Den and convert the dryads inside to the flame. She was discovered by Tyrande and the champion to be alive and aiding Fyrakk and the Druids of the Flame.[1] Tyrande and the adventurer then tracked her into the Smoldering Copse, witnessing how the priestess and Prophet Ashendir Hartwood were poisoning the night elves with lies about Tyrande, seeking back their lost immortality. When Tyrande charged at the gathered group, Norana and Ashendir quickly left.[5]
Afterward, she could be briefly seen at the entrance to the Wellspring Temple but disappeared after Ashendir was killed by the heroes of Azeroth.[6] She is then seen at the Throne of the Firelord in Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope.
