Needlerock Chasm
Needlerock Chasm is a chasm just north of Needlerock Slag in Deepholm. It is here the Needlerock stone troggs main settlement is located. Below the rock formations is a large pool of water where giant mushrooms grow. The stone trogg fungalmancers sprout fungal giants from them and send them to attack the Earthen.
Slate Quicksand is found in the south end with a small group of geomancers waiting to stop this activity.
During the Burning Legion's third invasion, the stone troggs were corrupted by fel magic from Geth'xun, becoming known as the Felrock. In retaliation from their attack on the Pale Roost, Therazane sent Aeosera and her Stone Drakes to attack the corrupted troggs in the chasm, while the Farseer of the Earthen Ring encountered Borlock of the Deeps at the Needlerock Spire. Near him were two pools of fel.[1]
