The Shuddering Spires[35, 36] is an area covered in jagged rock formations like the Jagged Wastes. The area covers much of the middle shelf on the northwestern side of Deepholm. It's here Kor the Immovable is found one with the earth. This area also contains white chalky crystals that the earth elementals can absorb into their skin and purify themselves and become stronger.
Rock flayers ravage the weastern area, attacking the Sons of Kor and any other elementals that approach. Basilisks control the eastern area, petrifying any Stone Bats that fly into their territory.

- Stone troggs can sometimes be seen trying to tame the basilisks here.
