Morqut Islet

Morqut Islet ^[28, 58] is an island found off the western shore of the Forbidden Reach. Morqut Village is on the eastern side of the islet, and the Zskera Vaults are on the north.

The islet is bordered by the Tempest Cove to the north, the Tempest Coast to Caldera of the Menders to the northeast, Aerie Chasm to the east, Sharpscale Coast of the Old Weyrn Grounds to the southeast, Talon's Watch to the south, and Sylvern's Roost to the west.

The Irontide Raiders have set up a beachhead on the northern shore.

The Morqut Ascent dragonriding race starts at ^{[31.3, 65.7]} just south of the village, and there's a Dormant Waygate at ^{[29.1, 62.5]} in the tower overlooking the village from the south.

Inside the cave with a mouth at ^{[30.5, 61.0]} halfway up the eastern face of the mountain at ^{[28.9, 55.9]} can be the rare Loot Specialist.
