Moonkin Form is granted by [Balance Affinity], a level 30 talent for Feral, Guardian, and Restoration druids. You must be in Moonkin Form to cast most of the other spells taught by Balance Affinity: [Sunfire] (Feral/Guardian), [Starfire], and [Starsurge]. Moonkin Form also allows for the use of [Flap].
This ability is weaker than the [Moonkin Form] available to Balance druids in two ways: it doesn't increase the damage of your spells and it cannot grant Owlkin Frenzy, the proc that makes your next [Starfire] instant.

- Restoration druids casting any healing spells besides [Regrowth] while in Moonkin Form will change into their non-shapeshifted form.
Patch changes
- Patch 9.0.1 (2020-10-13): No longer has a 90 second cooldown.
- Patch 8.0.1 (2018-07-17): Now increases armor by 125% (was 200%).
- Hotfix (2017-07-24): Now grants 125% additional armor in PvP situations (was 200%).
- Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): Added.
