- Lesser Charm of Good Fortune
- Possession of the Lesser Charms of Good Fortune will result in great happiness and the eventual conversion into Warforged Seals, which allow players to risk a coin to receive a bonus reward from raid encounters.
Lesser Charm of Good Fortune is a reward from almost all daily quests in Mists of Pandaria. Charms also rarely appear inside objects like an Ancient Guo-Lai Cache.
They can drop from mobs on Pandaria that are level 35 and upwards, and will always drop from Pandarian champions, Kor'kron Commanders in Battlefield: Barrens and mobs on Timeless Isle.
Lesser Charms can be turned into 3x [Warforged Seal] weekly by speaking with quest givers in the faction strongholds in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms.
Objective of
[30-35] Warforged Seals
Notes
Once a week the player can complete a quest to convert 50 lesser charms into 3 [Warforged Seal]. Elder Lin offers the quest to Alliance; Elder Liao offers the quest to Horde.
Patch changes
Patch 5.4.0 (2013-09-10):
[90W] Mogu Runes of Fate has been replaced by
[30-35] Warforged Seals, meaning Lesser Charms are now convertible to
[Warforged Seal] rather than
[Mogu Rune of Fate].
Patch 5.3.0 (2013-05-21):
- Creatures that are outdoors in the world and are Level-90 and above now have a chance to drop Lesser Charms of Good Fortune.
- Rare spawns in Pandaria (except Zandalari Warscouts, and Zandalari Warbringers) and bosses in Battlefield: Barrens will now always drop Lesser Charms of Good Fortune.
Hotfix (2013-04-23): We're deploying a hotfix late tonight that will reduce the number of Lesser Charms of Good Fortune required to purchase 3 Mogu Runes of Fate from 90 down to 50. Meaning when you log in Tuesday and purchase your 3 Mogu Runes of Fate, which are used for 5.2 raid boss bonus rolls, it will only cost you 50 Lesser Charms.
Patch 5.2.0 (2013-03-05):
[90W] Elder Charms of Good Fortune has been replaced by
[90W] Mogu Runes of Fate, meaning Lesser Charms are now convertible to
[Mogu Rune of Fate] rather than
[Elder Charm of Good Fortune].
- 1,000,000 max cap was removed.
Patch 5.1.0 (2012-11-27): Lesser Charms of Good Fortune no longer take up bag space, and are now recorded in the currency tab of the Character Sheet.
Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Added.
