Trivia

• Mad Bombardier simultaneously offered Survival good multi-target damage and boiled the spec's kit down to two key abilities: [Kill Command] and [Wildfire Bomb]. With the help of [Wildfire Infusion]'s [Pheromone Bomb], players could "fish" for Mad Bombardier procs by spamming Kill Command—and, in turn, cycle through to another Pheromone Bomb faster. This combination of more power for less effort led Survival to be a "flavor of the month" spec during patch 9.2.

Patch changes

• Hotfix (2022-08-08): (4) Set Bonus: Mad Bombardier damage bonus has been reduced to 50% (was 70%).
  

Developers' note: [...] Mad Bombardier [...] is still causing Survival Hunters to over perform in multi-target situations. We're lowering [its effectiveness] while also increasing the damage of your single target abilities to offset this loss of damage against a single target.
