God-King Skovald is the king of the vrykul on the Broken Isles. He rules the lands of Stormheim and has recently allied himself with the Burning Legion during their third invasion of Azeroth. He has been tasked by his demonic masters to retrieve one of the ancient titan relics known as the Pillars of Creation - the 
[Aegis of Aggramar].
Adventure Guide
Gul'dan approached the vrykul king Skovald with a simple proposition: he could join the Legion and receive ultimate power, or he would see his people destroyed. Dreaming of conquest and glory, Skovald has taken up the Legion's offer, and been set to a single crucial task. He must claim the Aegis of Aggramar from Odyn in the Halls of Valor and deliver it to Gul'dan. Only then can his endless conquest begin.
Overview
God-King Skovald battles the party for control of the Aegis of Aggramar. Players may wrest the Aegis from Skovald's grasp, and use it to defend against his ultimate attacks.

Aegis of Aggramar — The bearer of the Aegis of Aggramar creates a shield for allies that absorbs all damage taken from the front for 12 sec.

Ragnarok 
— Inflicts 153562 to 161438 Fire damage to all enemies every 1.5 sec for 9 sec. Each cast increases the damage of Ragnarok by 25%.
Felblaze Rush — Charges toward a random player, inflicting 377081 to 396419 Fire damage to all enemies within 10 yds.- Aegis of Aggramar — The bearer of the Aegis of Aggramar creates a shield that absorbs all damage taken from the front for 9 sec.
Infernal Flames — Creates an area of blazing flame that inflicts 82125 Fire damage every 0.5 sec. This effect stacks.
Flame of Woe 
— While protected by the Aegis of Aggramar Skovald summons a Flame of Woe that fixates on a random player every 1.5 sec. As the Flame of Woe moves it spreads Infernal Flames.
Consuming Flame — A Flame of Woe consumes itself slowly, consuming 5% of its maximum life every 3 sec until it burns itself out.- Infernal Flames — Creates an area of blazing flame that inflicts 82125 Fire damage every 0.5 sec. This effect stacks.
Savage Blade — Skovald lashes out at his current target inflicting 656687 to 673313 Physical damage and applies Ragged Slash if the target is not protected with active mitigation.
Ragged Slash — Inflicts 35000 Physical damage every 2 sec for 20 sec.

- In early Legion alpha, his adventure guide entry read : "Gul'dan approached Skovald with a proposition, have his vrykul join the Legion or see his people be destroyed. With the promise of 1,000's of worlds to conquer Skovald has taken up the Legion's offer. Before being allowed to fully enter the ranks of the Burning Legion he must first secure the Aegis of Aggramar from Odyn's realm of the Halls of Valor only then can his endless conquest begin."
