- Fire and Ice is a Common Mage/Shaman ability card in the World of Warcraft: Trading Card Game's Drums of War set, released long before the ability's inclusion in World of Warcraft.
Patch changes
Patch 8.0.1 (2018-07-17): Removed. 
Patch 7.2.5 (2017-06-13): Redesigned: Your [Flame Shock] and [Frost Shock] no longer consume up to an additional 20 Maelstrom. The duration of your Frost Shock and Flame Shock is increased by 100%, and the damage of your Frost Shock is increased by 100%.
- Old: Frost Shock now deals 20% additional damage, and Flame Shock's periodic damage generates 3 Maelstrom.
- Old: Frost Shock now deals 20% additional damage, and Flame Shock's periodic damage generates 3 Maelstrom.
- Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): Added.
