Fire Nova is an Enhancement shaman talent.

It is an exclusive choice node with [Hailstorm].

Tips and tactics

Highly useful in raid situations usually involving lots of trash mobs. Shamans can run cast Flame Shock on one mob, use [Lava Lash] on that target to spread FS to other enemies, and then cast Fire Nova.

Patch 10.1.0 (2023-05-02): Now deals both Fire and Physical spell school damage.
Patch 10.0.0 (2022-10-25): Now a row 4 Enhancement talent (was a level 35 Enhancement talent).
Hotfix (2022-04-05): Fixed an issue with Fire Nova incorrectly requiring a 1-hand weapon equipped to be cast.
Patch 9.2.0 (2022-02-22): Mana cost reduced to 1% base mana (was 5.5%).

Patch 4.1.0 (2011-04-26): Redesigned: Ignites your Flame Shock spell on any nearby enemies, causing each of them to emit a wave of flames that deals X damage to every other enemy within 10 yards.
Old: Causes the shaman's active Fire totem to emit a wave of flames, inflicting Fire damage to enemies within 10 yards of the totem.
Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): No longer works with [Searing Totem]. Now learned at level 28 (was 12).
