Field Commander Ignax leads the black dragonflight forces fighting in the Battlefield Ruins of northern Zaralek Cavern from the Obsidian Spire Outpost. He tasked adventurers destroying the djaradin Dragonslayer Ballistae to clear the skies,[1] kill Zaqali Flametongues[2] and Warchanter Ronvath to obtain his battle plans. From the report, he learned about a new dragon-like species living in nearby caves.[3] As the black dragons fought against the enemies, Ignax's scouts located the caves.[4]
Ignax also attended the gathering in Amirdrassil when it bloomed on the Dragon Isles after Fyrakk's death.
