Eternal Guardian is a pet ability available exclusively to the quilen family of hunter pets.
History
Prior to Battle for Azeroth, it could revive a fallen party member with 60% health and 20% mana, even in combat.
It was functionally identical to the moth family's 
[Dust of Life] and the crane family's [Gift of Chi-Ji]. Note, however, that none of these abilities were usable in Arena matches.
Patch changes
Patch 8.0.1 (2018-07-17): Now resurrects the hunter's pet instead of a party member. Cooldown reduced to 8 minutes (was 10). 
Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Added.
