Stone Armor is a special pet ability available exclusively to the stone hound (previously quilen) family of hunter pets.

It is the only Hunter pet ability that both reduces damage and has health regeneration.
Despite the update to the family name in Shadowlands, the ability still reads "Quilen" instead of Stone Hound.

Patch changes

Patch 9.0.1 (2020-10-13): Quilen family renamed to Stone Hound. Ability now learned at level 14.
Patch 8.0.1 (2018-07-17): Now learned at level 20. Regen effect increased to 12 seconds, up from 8.
Patch 7.3.5 (2018-01-16): Converted from a Bonus Ability to a Special Ability. Numbers adjusted.
Previous: Reduces pet damage taken by 30% and regenerates 24% of its health over 8 seconds.
Patch 6.0.2 (2014-10-14): Added.
