The Escaped Wilderling is a Korthian vignette, required for 
[Conquering Korthia], located by the Night Fae camp on Hope's Ascent in northwestern Korthia, alongside Alvyni, Karras, and Twinklewings.
Upon completion of the vignette, players will gain 6-15x uncommon-quality anima items (30-75 anima), a 
[Talon-Pierced Mawsworn Lockbox] and 5% progress toward 
[60W] Shaping Fate. Night Fae players may also find the 
[Wilderling Saddle], which starts 
[60] Wilderling Saddle, awarding the 
[Summer Wilderling Harness] flying mount. Night Fae players are guaranteed to get the 
[Legend of the Animaswell] once a week, which starts Legend of the Animaswell.
Vignette
To start the vignette, Night Fae players should keep an eye out for the rare star on the minimap of Hope's Ascent. Karras calls out:
- Karras says: <Name>! Would you join our hunt? We have need of a fourth.
Speak with Karras:
- Queen's blessing upon you, <name>.
- If you have a moment, we could use your assistance in hunting a wilderling that has strayed from our encampment.
- Play the Alluring Drum nearby to help us lure it to this ledge. Be ready, however.
- It is not a tame wilderling.
Night Fae players should then use the Alluring Drum to aggro the escaped wilderling:
- Escaped Wilderling roars defiantly in the distance. (zone-wide)
- Alvyni says: The wilderling is responding to our music. Play louder!
- Twinklewings says: I will hit this drum so loud the Winter Queen hears it in Ardenweald!
- Karras says: Stay focused! The hunt is upon us.
Get it to 20%:
- Karras says: The wilderling still resists us. Maw walker, you must earn its trust.
Hop on the now-friendly wilderling and use the Hold Tight ability when prompted:
Hold Tight — Hold on tight when the wilderling gets a burst of speed. Instant (4 sec cooldown)
The wilderling takes off, and attempts to shake off the Maw Walker:
- Escaped Wilderling gets a burst of speed. Hold on tight!
Use the ability as close to the prompt as possible to fill the bar. "Good" holds are worth 5%, while "Perfect!" holds are worth 10%. Streaks of three or more Perfect holds grant another 5% progress.
Fill the bar and the wilderling will return to the fae, then the party will escort it back to camp:
- Karras says: The hunt is complete. Let us return this wilderling to camp.
- Alvyni says: I still do not understand why I cannot ride it, just because you cannot, Karras...
- Karras says: Solidarity. We hunt together, we walk together.
- Twinklewings says: Enjoy your dirty hooves. I'll stay up here...
Tracking quest
To check whether the escaped wilderling was tamed today, copy and paste this command into the chat window:
/run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(64320))
If a "true" appears in the chat window, the escaped wilderling was tamed today; "false" indicates the opposite.
