Notes

The player's casts are grouped into rough categories. Then the Naaru's choice of "similar spell" produces an imitation or Naaru spell for that category. According to Mechanical Priest theorycrafting, note that AOE and Single Target spells both have different imitations that result. This means there are categories for AOE Heals, ST heals, ST damage, and AOE damage, and these four main categories of player spell correlate to four Naaru spells (Dazzling Light, Healing Light, Searing Light, and Light Eruption). Prayer of Mending and Renew are additional exceptions, for a total of six Naaru spells. Note that not every spell has a Naaru imitation spell equivalent.

This effect was originally based on the passive effect of the Holy Priest Artifact Weapon, [T'uure, Beacon of the Naaru]. However, the name of the Naaru image is now generic, and not an image of T'uure specifically.

Patch 10.2.6 (2024-03-19): No longer a choice node with [Divine Word].
Patch 10.2.0 (2023-11-07):
- Dazzling Light healing decreased by 35%.
- Blessed Light healing decreased by 20%.
Patch 10.1.0 (2023-05-02):
- Divine Image now teleports near the Priest when the Priest casts a Holy Word spell if the Image is further than 15 yards away.
- Dazzling Lights healing from Divine Image reduced by 50%.
- Now spawns 1 Naaru that is empowered and grows with further Holy Word casts.
Developers' note: This is intended to have the same effectiveness as the current design while reducing clutter on the battlefield.
Hotfix (2023-03-23): Healing and damage from Divine Image should now be properly attributed to the Priest who summoned it.
Patch 10.0.7 (2023-03-21):
- Now triggers off all Holy Word casts instead of having a chance to trigger.
- Duration reduced to 9 seconds (was 15 seconds).
- The Divine Image buff on the Priest now has a stack count representing the number of active Divine Images.
- The Divine Image buff on the Priest has been added to the Personal Resource Display.
