Holy Word: Serenity is a Holy priest Holy Word ability. It is a powerful instant single-target healing spell.

  • Dragonflight Patch 10.2.0 (2023-11-07): Healing increased by 30%.
  • Dragonflight Hotfix (2023-05-15): Healing increased by 25% in PvP Combat (was 15%).
  • Dragonflight Hotfix (2023-01-09): Healing is increased by 15% in PvP Combat.
  • Dragonflight Hotfix (2022-11-01): Healing reduced by 5%.
  • Dragonflight Patch 10.0.0 (2022-10-25): Now a row 1 Holy talent (was a level 11 Holy ability).
  • Shadowlands Patch 9.2.0 (2022-02-22): Mana cost reduced to 2.5% (was 4%).
  • Shadowlands Patch 9.0.1 (2020-10-13): Now learned at level 11 (was 18).
  • Legion Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): Redesigned as level 18 ability, separate from [Chakra: Serenity]. Now heals for a large amount with a 1 minute cooldown.
    Old: Instantly heals the target, and increases the critical effect chance of your healing spells on the target by 25% for 6 sec.
  • Warlords of Draenor Patch 6.0.2 (2014-10-14): Now heals for 40% more than before.
  • Cataclysm Patch 4.3.0 (2011-11-29): Now has a cooldown of 10 seconds, down from 15 seconds.
  • Cataclysm Hotfix (2011-02-09): Holy Word: Serenity is correctly granting [Binding Heal] an extra 25% chance to critically hit.
  • Cataclysm Patch 4.0.6 (2011-02-08): Now correctly grants healing spells cast by the priest an extra 25% chance to critically hit.
  • Cataclysm Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Added.
