The subject of this article or section was part of Legion Invasions, a world event that heralded the beginning of the Burning Legion's third invasion of Azeroth prior to Legion.
Devoted Battle-Priests are friendly priests of several races that were at the Legion Invasion locations. They could be seen doing several things, like healing injured Stormwind Guards. If they were in danger, once saved, they could help the adventurers. They could only be saved by Alliance adventurers.
Depending on their race (except draenei), they are either members of the Church of the Holy Light or the Sisterhood of Elune.
They later appeared throughout Azsuna and Val'sharah during Legion Assaults.
Abilities
Holy Smite — Smites an enemy, inflicting Holy damage.
Inner Fire — A burst of Holy energy fills the caster, increasing armor by 10% and spell power by 10%.
Power Word: Shield — Wraps an ally in a shield that lasts up to 30 sec., absorbing damage. While the shield holds, spell channeling will not be affected by damage taken.
Power Word: Fortitude — Infuses the target with vitality, increasing Stamina by 10% for 1 hour.
