During the Fourth War, Lyana and an adventurer were assigned by Sylvanas Windrunner to track down Varok Saurfang after the latter escaped Alliance custody. Lynana endeavored to deceive the adventurer to her own ends; in truth, her mission was not to recapture Saurfang, but instead to kill him on orders of the Banshee Queen. She and a force of Forsaken Deathguard Elites confronted Saurfang and Zekhan in the Swamp of Sorrows, and the adventurer soon joined the latter pair as a result of her deception. Together, the three slew Lyana and her troops, and left their remains in the Swamp.[3]
