Commander Ashlam Valorfist is a human found in the Alliance camp of Chillwind Camp in Western Plaguelands. High Priestess MacDonnell is his second-in-command.[1]
Ashlam was sent by the Kingdom of Stormwind to fight against the Scourge in Andorhal and the outer area. He is known to have worked with the adventurers and High Priest Thel'danis to create Holy Mightstones.
After the Cataclysm his task was to organize the Alliance in Andorhal and surrounding farms. However, after the battle with the Horde, the Alliance has completely lost the town. He fears that their next target will be Chillwind.
During the Fourth War, he led an Alliance army from the Plaguelands towards Hillsbrad and the abandoned town of Strahnbrad, where Horde forces were waging a guerilla campaign in an effort to slow their advance,[2] apparently clashing with the dark rangers led by Dark Ranger Clea.[3]

In the RPG
This young but battle-scarred veteran leads the Argent Dawn at Chillwind Point. As an ambassador from Stormwind, he misses the greener lands of his home. Still, he is determined to see the Plaguelands cleansed of blight and the Scourge driven back. His recent focus has been a graveyard just outside the borders of their camp, but due to recent successes from outside help, he has pushed the front towards Andorhal.[4][5] He is described as a Templar and Gladiator.
