- On the other side of a bridge, Tyrande has dismounted Ash'alah. Approach the bridge.
- A cutscene plays, showing Xavius, a Nightmare-corrupted Ysera, and a bound Malfurion Stormrage.
- Xavius says: Tyrande Whisperwind! I have longed for this encounter for many years.
- Xavius says: Your adoring husband will be joining me in the nightmare. His was a special invitation.
- Xavius walks around Malfurion to stand beneath the hovering Ysera and turns back to Tyrande.
- Xavius says: And our dear Ysera! Would you believe she has had a change of heart?
- Xavius says: She will aid me in my conquest of Val'sharah, starting with your precious Temple of Elune.
- Ysera roars and obediently flies off.
- Xavius says: Such a dilemma, high priestess!
- Xavius says: Kneel beside your beloved as he draws his final breath? Or watch the temple of your goddess burn!
- Xavius cackles as he teleports away, taking Malfurion with him.
- Quest complete
- Tyrande Whisperwind says: Ysera - no!
