Broken Gatecrasher is a gravewing located at the Vault of Secrets in southern Korthia. Part of the Stygian Stonecrusher rare mob encounter, it appears as a star on the minimap. Members of the Venthyr Covenant can speak with Drippy nearby to start the event.
Notes
Non-Venthyr characters cannot start this encounter, as Drippy will only say the following:
- Scram, Maw Walker.
- Us 'ere on an important mission from the Stonewright 'erself.
- Venthyr only, yeah?
For Venthyr Covenant members, Drippy will whisper as you approach:
- Drippy whispers: Psst, <name>. Over here!
Speak to Drippy:
- Plucked as muck to see you, Maw Walker!
- Me and da crew here was sent out 'ere to to reclaim 'at dere big stoneborn.
- Trouble is, 'ere too many 'em mawsworn running 'bout to do it without 'em noticin'.
- You got time to help us out?
I will protect you while you repair the stoneborn.
Drippy, Kashaa, and Nandor will leave their hiding spot to make repairs on the Broken Gatecrasher.
- Drippy yells: For Sinfall!
- Drippy says: Follow me, crew!
- Kashaa says: This stonebrother needs more than a simple dredger's tools.
- Nandor says: Worry not, Kashaa. I have brought enough anima to restore its power.
At this point, waves of Mawsworn Stonetwisters and Conjured Hunger begin appearing.
- Drippy says: Told ya those Mawsworn ain't gonna be happy about this...
- Nandor says: Focus your attentions, Drippy. I will channel anima into the carvings you make.
- Kashaa says: Easy, stonebrother... We are still working...
- Drippy says: I think he tried to bite me!
- Kashaa says: He did NOT try to bite you. But it wouldn't hurt to be more careful with that chisel...
A Stygian Stonecrusher appears and makes its way toward you.
- Drippy yells: Ahhh! Maw Walker, stop that giant crystal monster thing!
Once it's defeated:
- As the gatecrasher stands up, Nandor, Kashaa, and Drippy get on its back.
- Nandor says: Rise, gatecrasher! Answer the call to service once more!
- Kashaa says: Thank you, stonebrother. Take us where we are needed.
- Drippy yells: Wheeeeeee!
