The Blighted Pool is a medium sized pool of blighted water found within Valkyrion in the Storm Peaks.[23, 58] Blighted Proto-Drakes and their eggs can be found here.
After joining up with the Scourge, during the war against the Lich King, one of the ways the Hyldnir of Valkyrion served the Lich King was by capturing proto-drakes and their eggs and taking them to the Blighted Pool, waters filled with corruption and disease intended to infect them with the plague,[1] transforming them into plagued proto-drakes.
