The Arcanite Ripper currently has a small chance to be found on the Black Market Auction House, posted by Bergrisst for the opening bid of 70,000, and additionally inside the 
[Unclaimed Black Market Container] as well.
The item originally dropped from Tenris Mirkblood in Karazhan during the Zombie Infestation pre-WotLK event. It was removed from Tenris's loot table 2 weeks after the start, after which it was unavailable until the introduction of the Black Market Auction House with patch 5.0.4.
Notes and trivia
- Upon equipping this weapon, it can be right-clicked to trigger the Arcanite Ripper effect, transforming the bearer into Bergrisst. This effect lasts 12 seconds and has a 1-minute cooldown.
- The item is a reference to the
[Arcanite Reaper].
