7th Legion Submariners are mobs located in the Cathedral Quarter of Gilneas City during the invasion of Gilneas. After the 7th Legion submarines reached the shore of Gilneas, sinking down the entire Horde fleet, the submariners under the command of Master Sergeant Pietro Zaren were ordered to occupy Gilneas City. Pietro and his submariners attacked Rutsak's Guard and Dreadwatch Outpost, slaughtering every Forsaken trooper, the only survivor being Captain Rutsak, who they intentionally left alive so that he may witness their strength. Captain Rutsak later orders players to avenge his soldiers by slaughtering 7th Legion Submariners located in the Cathedral Quarter.
