Cheat codes for Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness and Warcraft II: Beyond the Dark Portal.
To use a cheat code, press the [enter] key, type in the code, and press enter again. These codes affect all players equally in multi-player games.

| deck me out | Gives you all the weapon/armor upgrades. |
| disco | Plays the hidden song "I'm a Medieval Man". |
| every little thing she does | Gives you all spell upgrades and infinite mana. |
| glittering prizes | 10,000 gold, 5000 lumber, and 5000 oil for you AND opponent. |
| hatchet | Cut down trees in 2 chops for you AND opponent. |
| it is a good day to die | Invincible to enemy attacks (except for Whirlwind, Blizzard, or Death and Decay) and do more damage to enemy. |
| make it so | Speeds up building and unit production for you AND opponent. |
| never a winner | Disables victory conditions. |
| noglues | Disables mission briefings and victory/defeat screens. |
| on screen | Shows you the whole map. |
| showpath | Shows you the whole map, although it leaves the fog of war in the minimap. |
| there can be only one | Takes you to the campaign victory sequence. |
| tigerlily | Enables level jumping. Use Human # and Orc # to jump levels where # is the level you want to go to. For Expansion pack levels type x before the levels (i.e., "xorc10") |
| ucla | The phrase "Go Bruins!" appears on the screen. |
| unite the clans | Win the scenario instantly. |
| valdez | Gain 5000 oil |
| you pitiful worm | Lose the scenario instantly. |
Notes
- If a player uses cheat codes at any time during a single-player mission or scenario, their rank (regardless of whatever score they accumulated) at the end of the game will show up as Cheater!
Trivia
- Many of the codes are pop culture references:
- "day" is a misspelling of "DEI" (Dabney Eats It), the slogan for the Dabney House at the California Institute of Technology, and "FEIF" (Fleming Eats It Faster) is a slogan for the Fleming House, another Caltech house.
- "it is a good day to die", "make it so", and "on screen" refer to Star Trek.
- "every little thing she does" refers to the song "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic" by The Police.
- "there can be only one" refers to Highlander.
- "tigerlily" is the debut studio album by American singer-songwriter Natalie Merchant.
- "ucla" refers to the UCLA Bruins.
- "valdez" refers to the Exxon Valdez oil spill.
- "you pitiful worm" is a part of the line spoken by the Orc narrator on Warcraft: Orcs & Humans if the player loses a scenario on the campaign.
