Vindicator Iriska was a Lightforged draenei of the Army of the Light. She was the commander and teacher of Valunei on Argus. Iriska taught her the ways of the Light, how to swing a mace, how to heal the injured, and how to face demons without giving in to fear, becoming a paladin. At one point, Iriska even saved Valunei's life. They became close friends, with Valunei even calling her "sister". Iriska died at some point, and Valunei felt lost. Years later on Azeroth, Valunei joined the Tyr's Guard and went back in time on a mission to activate a Temporal Beacon during the Black Empire. There, the n'raqi Hr'qoth conjured an image of Iriska to deceive Valunei. Her teammate Talthis was unable to convince Valunei of the lie, but the adventurer did, and Valunei threw a bolt at the image, dispelling it and revealing Hr'qoth.[1][2]
