Verstok Darkbough is a night elf druid of the Ashen located in Val'sharah.

He first appears at Ashamane's Gate where he implored his master Delandros Shimmermoon to take immediate action. Delandros refuses and wants to protect his druids first, so Verstok rushes off to Ashamane's Fall to protect the Fangs of Ashamane. Once the demon threat is averted from Mistvale, the druid adventurer enters the Fall as Verstok grabs the Fangs and escapes, denying Algromon his prize. After the pit lord's death, Delandros sent the hero to track down Verstok and the Fangs. They did so and found Verstok in the Broken Cloister of the Temple of Fal'adora in Suramar, maddened and paranoid due to the power of the Fangs. The druid hero had to fight Verstok who refused to release the Fangs, escaping deeper into the Shattered Locus where he fell into Webmistress Shinaris' web trap. Once the fal'dorei was killed, Verstok was released, came to his senses, and released the Fangs.

Abilities

Ashamane's Frenzy — Unleash Ashamane's Frenzy on your target, causing your claws to swipe the target 15 times over 3 sec, causing 15 Physical damage plus an additional 45 Bleed damage over 6 sec. Awards 1 combo points^[sic].
Maim — Finishing move that causes Physical damage and stuns the target.
Stealth — Puts the caster in stealth mode. Lasts until cancelled.
Swipe — Inflicts physical damage to nearby enemies.
