Vembrion was the one-eyed seneschal of the Obsidian Guard. He and his forces secured the scene of a mortal village that had been destroyed in an attack by a rogue black dragon, and Neltharion ordered him to bring all evidence directly to him instead of Alexstrasza so that the black dragonflight could handle the affair internally.

Vembrion and his Obsidian Guard were left to hold the Obsidian Citadel on their own when Neltharion summoned the rest of the military forces at the Citadel to Valdrakken in preparation for the Primalist assault.
