A trapper is a type of hunter that specializes in the use of traps.
Third War
Forest Troll Trappers, Ice Troll Trappers, Dark Troll Trappers, and Tuskarr Trappers appear as creeps in Warcraft III. They are all capable of using the "Ensnare" ability (a net).
World of Warcraft
Trappers are common in World of Warcraft, appearing within several races.
Of note are the trappers of the Grizzly Hills, a faction of humans that became a front for the Wolfcult.
They seem to be playable as survival hunters.
