Root Trappers are lasher mobs that can be found throughout the areas south and east of Azure Watch on Azuremyst Isle. Their vines have medicinal properties, which Anchorite Fateema uses to make ointments for healing the many injured draenei who pass through Azure Watch. Fateema also attempted to use the trapper vine ointment on an Injured Night Elf Priestess, though it was unsuccessful in reviving her.
