The Slumbering Emperor is an ardenmoth located northwest of the road between Hibernal Hollow and Tirna Vaal in Ardenweald. It's hidden within a Strange Cloud that makes you start to fall asleep as soon as you draw near. To disperse the cloud, you must engage the Emperor in combat. There are various methods to do this, including...

Using certain abilities that reveal invisible targets (such as [Spectral Sight]), then hitting it with a ranged attack;
Tossing a ranged AoE (such as [Wild Spirits]) into the center of the cloud;
Or afflicting yourself with a periodic damage effect (such as a [Thorny Loop] or the nearby Greater Ardenmoths' poison) to stave off the sleep debuff, so you can run in and use a melee AoE.

Abilities

Moth Balls — Inflicts Physical damage in a cone in front of the caster every 1 sec. for 5 sec.
Twilight Dust — The moth sheds dust, inflicting Nature damage to players within 10 yards and stunning them for 6 sec.
