- Though not confirmed by Blizzard, among the playerbase it is considered that the first paragraph of the alternate universe characters can also apply for their main universe counterparts as there is no countering lore and it is based on previous information.
- Blackhand - AU only, with the World of Warcraft: Chronicle Volume 2 the story of retrieving the Doomhammer happened differently.[1][2]
