Objectives
Defend Frostfire Ridge from the Iron Horde.
- Speak with Durotan.
- Defend Frostfire Ridge from the Iron Horde.
Description
The Iron Horde has an army tenfold our number marching down the Thunder Pass as we speak.
Durotan is amassing our forces at the mouth of the pass. He is doing what he can to mount a defense but war on this scale is not what we Frostwolves are masters of.
He will need your expertise.

Completion
This was a costly victory, and a very painful lesson. We chose to refuse the Iron Horde and live as we always have, but I see now they will never respect such neutrality.
I am not about to wait for the Iron Horde to martial their forces. We will fight with you, and bring the Iron Horde to its knees.

Notes
Stage 1: The Battle Begins
- Speak with Durotan.
Speak to Durotan:
- If the Thunderlords are to be believed, then the Iron Horde is on its way. It falls on us to prevent them from taking Frostfire Ridge.
- We should move forward and defend our homeland at once!
Let's move forward.
Stage 2: Hold the Choke Point
- Protect Frostfire against waves of Iron Horde attackers.
- First Wave
- Second Wave
- Durotan says: Frostwolves! The Iron Horde is coming. As we speak, they march on Thunder Pass.
- Durotan says: But the Frostwolf clan is reunited! Together, we can protect this land!
- Durotan says: Lok-Narash, Frostwolves! Prepare for battle!
- Everyone moves up the mountain.
- Durotan says: We will hold the line here.
- Draka says: Drek'Thar, you can speak with the earth. Do you think you can collapse this canyon?
- Farseer Drek'Thar says: It would be a momentous task... I cannot make any promises.
- Ga'nar says: I can. Shaman, if you bring that cliff wall down, I promise that our enemy will be waiting right underneath it.
- Farseer Drek'Thar says: Then I will do my best.
- Thrall says: You'd better hurry! Here they come!
- Durotan says: Hold your position, Frostwolves! Let them come to you!
First Wave complete:
- Ga'nar says: Bring me more! Your Iron Horde can bleed on my axe!
Once both waves are completed, the next stage begins.
Stage 3: The Iron Clusterpult
- Destroy the Iron Clusterpult.
- Iron Clusterpuit destroyed
- Durotan says: We can't fight with this cannon fire coming down. Thrall! <name>! Take care of that tank!
- Thrall says: Dabu!
Drek'Thar comments on Thrall's fighting skills.
- Farseer Drek'Thar says: You fight like no shaman I have never seen.
- Thrall says: I was taught by the best... Drek'Thar.
- Farseer Drek'Thar says: You should tell your teacher to rely less on your hammer, and more on his brains.
- Thrall says: He'd be please to hear you say that.
Once the Tank is destroyed, the next stage begins.
Stage 4: A Good Defense
- Protect Frostfire against waves of Iron Horde attackers.
- First Wave
- Second Wave
First Wave complete:
- Ga'nar says: Durotan, this isn't a choke point... it's a meat grinder!
- Draka says: ...and yet they still keep coming.
- Ga'nar says: I know! That's the best part!
Once both waves are completed, the next stage begins.
Stage 5: Defending Drek'Thar
- Protect Drek'Thar from Iron Horde attackers.
- Drek'Thar protected
- Farseer Drek'Thar says: Durotan! I need help!
- Durotan says: Drek'Thar's in trouble. Ga'nar, get out there and lend him a hand.
- Ga'nar says: Thought you never ask, brother.
- Durotan says: You go too, <name>. Make sure my brother doesn't get himself killed.
- Ga'nar says: I can still hear you!
Once Drek'Thar is protected, the next stage begins.
- Farseer Drek'Thar says: Thank you. I owe you my life.
- Ga'nar says: Save the embraces for later, shaman. I've got a kill streak going.
Stage 6: Iron Thunderlords
- Protect Frostfire against waves of Iron Horde attackers.

- Draka says: I smell Thunderlords...
- Durotan says: Spears incoming! Hold your ground!
First Wave complete:
- Here comes another elekk!
Once both waves are completed, the next stage begins.
Stage 7: Malgrim Stormhand
- Defeat Malgrim Stormhand.
- Malgrim Stormhand slain
- Draka says: This one's mine.
- Durotan says: I'll be waiting.
- Draka says: Come back me up, <name>.
Approaching Malgrim:
- Malgrim Stormhand says: Look at this cute little puppy you've sent me, Durotan! Does she know any tricks?
- Draka says: Yes. A few.

- Malgrim Stormhand says: Come here, puppy. I want to play FETCH.
- Draka says: Well... if it'll make you happy, then LET'S PLAY!
Low Health
- Malgrim Stormhand says: Draka... come join me in the Iron Horde. Lose that armor, and settle down with a REAL MAN.
- Draka says: A real man would treat his mate with respect!
- Draka throws her weapon for the killing blow.
- Draka says: ...and he probably would have caught that axe.
Once Malgrim is dead, the next stage begins.
Stage 8: The Final Defense
- Protect Frostfire against waves of Iron Horde attackers.

First Wave complete:
- Durotan says: Drek'Thar! How much time do you need?
- Only a bit longer!
- Durotan says: We are counting on you, shaman!
Once both waves are completed, the final stage begins.
Final Stage: Slay Maggoc
- Slay Maggoc
- Maggoc slain
- Durotan says: GRONN!
- Durotan says: All Frostwolves - charge ahead! Take that thing down!
- Ga'nar says: For the Frostwolves!
- Thrall says: Lok'tar ogar!
After Maggoc is slain, a cutscene plays:
- Ga'nar pants and looks up to the Farseer. Durotan approaches Ga'nar and stares to the distance of approaching Iron Horde orcs.
- Ga'nar: We are out of time...
- Durotan then turns to his people.
- Durotan: Fall back!
- They start walking.
- Durotan: Drek'Thar!
- Farseer Drek'Thar: I just need another moment.
- Durotan: We will give Drek'Thar the time he needs... as brothers.
- Ga'nar: Your place is with our people. Protect our family Chieftain.
- Ga'nar sprints towards the Iron Horde as well as grabbing his weapon from Maggoc's corpse. Draka holding Durotan back, Drek'Thar completed the ritual and collapses the canyon.
- Ga'nar: LOK'TAR!
