Garrosh's Father?

Since Warlords of Draenor is an alternate universe, that would mean this version of Grom isn't really the father to the mainstream Garrosh, correct? OneVeryFancyElf (talk) 18:57, 13 March 2014 (UTC)

Yes. In theory, Alternate Garrosh should be a baby/child.--Cemotucu (talk) 20:13, 13 March 2014 (UTC)

Does anyone know if the whole time-traveller-Garrosh and baby-Garrosh paradox was explained somewhere? -- Napoleon_9th (talk) 16:43, 27 December 2014 (UTC)
Garrosh was never born by the time Golka died in the AU. Kairoz picked this universe because Garrosh didn't exist in it. --Aquamonkeyeg (talk) 17:27, 27 December 2014 (UTC)
Thank you, that's exactly what i wanted to know. I just didn't thought of checking out the article on Golka, which mentions that Hellscream (short story) is the source (specifically, page 4 includes "She never gave me a son"). Perhaps this bit of info should be included in some articles, too, but i'm not proficient enough to know where... (That's why i've explicitely added all the details here: your answer was great for me, but maybe there are others with that same question.) -- Napoleon_9th (talk) 21:45, 27 December 2014 (UTC)

War Crimes

This version of Grom appeared in the epilogue of War Crimes. However, that brief appearance does not, in my opinion, constitute a significant event in the character's history, and therefore should not appear in his biography on this page per Project:MOS#Content. — foxlit (talk) 02:04, 27 May 2014 (UTC)

I don't really disagree, but I suspect it's only there because right now that's the only appearance this version of Grom currently has. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 16:25, 27 May 2014 (UTC)
Oh, I see. Hmmm... while I would like to see that sentence in the page (coz of what Zeratul said), I am probably outnumbered, so i am not gonna revert it back as it would be for nought. But wondering if it could be placed, at least, in the trivia section? Something that he first appeared in the WC.--Mordecay (talk) 17:40, 3 June 2014 (UTC)

Grom & Grommash

Has this version of Grommash been referred to as "Grom" in any official source? It seems like Blizzard has stopped using that name. Some say that's because Honda recently copyrighted it (as the name of a motorcycle). I don't know if that's true... but if "Grom" has gone the way of "Furion", it might be prudent to change the title of this article. Egrem (talk) 08:09, 6 December 2014 (UTC)

I don't think I've ever seen WoD Grom referred to as anything other than "Grommash". The WoD site and Characters of Warcraft only use "Grommash". Project:NCA says character pages should have the character's full name, "Grommash" is part of his full name. --Aquamonkeyeg (talk) 08:58, 6 December 2014 (UTC)
If that's the case... shouldn't the pages "Grom Hellscream" and "Grom Hellscream (Warlords of Draenor)" be named "Grom Hellscream" and "Grommash Hellscream", or "Grommash Hellscream" and "Grommash Hellscream (Warlords of Draenor)"? Egrem (talk) 03:05, 8 December 2014 (UTC)
I would move both of them to Grommash, since it's his full name. It'd be like having Malfurion's page be named "Furion" or "Mal"; those are just nicknames used in-universe. ReignTG (talk) 03:08, 8 December 2014 (UTC)
I'm inclined to agree. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 17:17, 8 December 2014 (UTC)
