Thrall's Age

I've put the timeline and such on the talk page of Life spans as per your request. It explains how I got 18-20 and Thrall's age.--Whitedragon254 (talk) 04:01, 27 February 2012 (UTC)

Just wondering

About this edit, did you check the mission's quests?--SWM2448 18:09, 8 May 2014 (UTC)

Nope. Sorry -.- Just checked and yes: it's mentioned in the second quest. I corrected my mistake and reworded the initial paragraph.Cemotucu (talk) 00:11, 9 May 2014 (UTC)

RE: Arathor demonym

Is it officially Arathorian? I see that the RPG here uses it, but many things in the game use 'Arathi'. 'Arathi tribe', 'Arathi warlords', 'Arathi nation' are in  [Arathor and the Troll Wars]. 'Arathi bloodline' in  [The Seven Kingdoms]. Also, Arathi Highlands and Arathi Basin.

Tides of Darkness uses 'Arathi' to describe the bloodline and Lothar. Although, both 'Arathi Empire' and 'Arathorian Empire' are used. While both may be acceptable, it seems 'Arathi' is the more common usage. -Aquamonkeyeg (talk) 05:27, 31 May 2014 (UTC)

Did a quick check on Wowhead. Only official thing that came up for 'Arathorian' was 'Arathorian Empire' in an obsolete quest Sigil of Strom. When it was updated in Cata, 'Arathorian' was removed from the quest text.
'Arathi', on the other hand, came up quite a bit. Arathi Miner/Horse/Farmer/Stablehand/etc. There's also  [Royal Cloak of Arathi Kings] and  [Ring of Arathi Warlords].
If Loreology has already noted a ruling that it is 'Arathorian', hit him with all these instances of 'Arathi'. :) -Aquamonkeyeg (talk) 06:36, 31 May 2014 (UTC)
Sorry to spam your talk page. I found 'Arathorian empire' and 'Arathorian city-state' in  [The Guardians of Tirisfal]. Also 'Arathi bloodline' used in  [The Dark Portal and the Fall of Stormwind] and  [The Alliance of Lordaeron].
I think that's all of them, but I'm probably missing some. It looks like 'Arathorian' is only used for governmental systems (i.e. nation, empire, city-state) and 'Arathi' is more used to refer to the people, land, and things but can be used for the empire. -Aquamonkeyeg (talk) 07:14, 31 May 2014 (UTC)
"Arathorian" is for Arathor; those are the examples I remembered when I modified the edit. "Arathi" is the name of the ruling tribe, later turned into a family or bloodline; "Arathi empire" wouldn't mean the empire of Arathor, but the empire of the Arathi.
When you say "Arathi warlords", you are not saying that those warlords are from Arathor; you're saying those Warlords were Arathi, from the tribe. Same with the cloak.Unholy Cemotucu (talk contribs) 18:12, 31 May 2014 (UTC)
Ok, I can see that. :) I guess Arathi Highlands would then be referring to the lands originally belonging to the tribe. Then all the other names within the area being derivative of that even though they are not technically of the Arathi bloodline. --Aquamonkeyeg (talk) 18:29, 31 May 2014 (UTC)
Exactly. If we used the same structure in other kingdoms, we'd see expressions such as "Menethil kingdom" or "Sunstrider kingdom".
On the pertinent subject, I de-edited the change because it wasn't needed. Arathi empire and Arathorian empire refer to the same thing. But it is okey as it is.
On the other hand, I believe we should have a list of official demonyms. Don't you think?Unholy Cemotucu (talk contribs) 02:08, 1 June 2014 (UTC)
Would be nice to have it in the infoboxes too. --Aquamonkeyeg (talk) 03:43, 1 June 2014 (UTC)
