Azjol'Nerub

I know that this article shares a lot with Azjol-Nerub, but as Azjol is a point on the map, while the nerubian empire spreads beneath whole Northrend, and another dungeon, Ahn'kahet: The Old Kingdom, is located next to it, not as part of it, it seems to me that Azjol is just the capital, sometimes generalized for the empire, which is much bigger. So if you agree to me we maybe should change Azjol a bit. TheSatyr (talk) 13:57, June 11, 2010 (UTC)

This page needs more citations in my opinion. Also, it does not help that the entire empire seems to be one huge cavern city (the separation between parts is minimal), and that the layout changed drastically from TFT to WoW.--SWM2448 20:55, June 11, 2010 (UTC)
Or any citation... not to mention some linkage from other articles, since nothing links here. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 20:57, June 11, 2010 (UTC)
Better like this? I didn't change most links to Azjol'nerub, as the information is still there. TheSatyr (talk) 00:46, June 12, 2010 (UTC)
WoWWiki is not a primary source, so linking to the "Aqir" article as citation will not cut it. Who calls their empire "the Nerubian Empire"?--SWM2448 01:13, June 12, 2010 (UTC)
I looked though the Arthas: Rise of the Lich King book and it looks like Anub'arak refers to the the whole region as Azjol-Nerub. [1]. In addition, Lands of Mystery states that In Northrend, the nerubians flourished. The subterranean civilization of Azjol-Nerub covered much of the continent. Name

Reviewing what I did since my last ban I still believe that Kingdom of Azjol'Nerub is a good name for the infobox; Anub'arak is cited by the living Nerubians as the traitor king and the old revisions of War of the Spider (such as [1]) states this faction as a kingdom.Gabrirt (talk · contributions) 14:57, 7 January 2014 (UTC)

The name in the infobox should generally match the title of the article. There are two potential interpretations here: the Nerubian Empire is solely the Kingdom of Azjol-Nerub, and Upper Kingdom, Old Kingdom etc are subzones of that kingdom; or the Nerubian Empire is composed of multiple kingdoms, one of which was Azjol-Nerub. If we favour the former, the article should be renamed; if we favour the latter, the infobox should read "Nerubian Empire" instead. — foxlit (talk) 21:34, 30 August 2014 (UTC)
That's actually a good speculation!--Mordecay (talk) 17:21, 17 April 2015 (UTC)

It's also called "nerubian empire" (lower case) in AskCDev 1, WotLK Bestiary, WotLK Story so Far, and N [30] Anub'Rekhan Must Die!. It's called "Nerubian empire" in WC3. --Aquamonkeyeg (talk) 17:04, 17 April 2015 (UTC)

RE: Nerub

"Nerub" is used several times by itself: "By Nerub." & "Feel the venom of Nerub!", "By Nerub, the rebels nearly had us, King Arthas.", and a few items. It's unclear what exactly "Nerub" is referring to. --Aquamonkeyeg (talk) 17:34, 22 April 2017 (UTC)

Move

Since there is a bettertag, and to be consistent with other nations' pages? --Ryon21 (talk) 01:28, 12 March 2019 (UTC)

Makes sense.--SWM2448 02:48, 12 March 2019 (UTC)
