The Sunken Dig Site[70, 86]
is the flooded remains of the silithid-infested Rustmaul Dig Site in the southern Thousand Needles. When the region was flooded, most of the silithid seem to have burrowed underground (although the wasps now instead fly about above the water's surface). The gnome Brivelthwerp wanted to turn the now seemingly empty hive into a refrigeration vault for his ice cream empire. However, when the pipes had almost been installed, the silithid burrowed out of the cave and killed all of his employees.[1] Brivelthwerp himself survived on his tugboat on the surface, where he asks adventurers for help in salvaging the operation.
