Stranglethorn Fever is a deadly viral disease native to Stranglethorn Vale. Cape of Stranglethorn Fever is either a more technical name or a strain specific to the Cape of Stranglethorn. As the name suggests, the disease causes debilitating weakness and a sense of cold. The only cure is to eat the heart of Mokk the Savage, an elusive white gorilla. Fin Fizracket, a goblin in Booty Bay, contracted the virus and asked adventurers to obtain Mokk's heart for him so he could be cured.
