Serpent's Coil is a winding cave system, located in eastern Blasted Lands, that had been occupied by evil cultists worshipping Kirith the Damned. Several burnt-out orcish structures stand here, remnants from the Second War.
Archmage Allistarj operated his Shadowsworn forces from within this small labyrinth, that is until he was killed, now the Shadowsworn forces continue on with someone else leading them. Near the entrance is a chest with the 
[Amulet of Allistarj] inside.
Deep within the cavern is a gnome named Kasim Sharim, and although he's an Alliance member he has set up a small camp within the cave with a Horde banner.
When the Iron Horde began their invasion, they took control of the cave.
Trivia
- While most of the orcish ruins resemble burnt-out modern Horde architecture, some building shells resemble the domed structures of Warcraft: Orcs & Humans, a style also adapted for the towns of the Mag'har, as the orcish occupation dates back to the First War. Kum'isha the Collector uses one as a shelter.
