We found more Nokhud near our village again today. The sightings have become more frequent. Faraqseng Khan tells us that they would not dare to attack, but we prepare for battle nonetheless.
Jhakan Khan is a mighty fighter. No doubt he is looking to increase his clan's power in the plains. He may be a man of honor, but he is ruthless in war. Clan Toghus has softened in the past few generations... I don't think we will be able to hold our own against the Nokhud warriors.
I cannot allow myself to dwell on this. I will die protecting my clan, my family.
