I suspect we can harness the growth energy present in these plants for our own purposes, but I will need fresh samples.

You can harvest energized plant matter from any of the lashers or vine-choked automa nearby, or those inside the Catalyst Wards.

Notes

Upon accepting all three quests:

Feroz says: The entrance to the Catalyst Wards is blocked with vines.

Elder Ara says: You must find a way in, <name>.

Elder Ara says: Meet us at the Gardens when you are done.

Destroy the Bloomthorn Barriers and use the Catalyst Wards Lock to open the door into the Wards.

Energized Roots drop from Carnivorous Overgrowth and Sentient Overgrowth lashers, as well as Bloomthorn Protectors.

Feroz, Ara, Draven, and Nadjia

When done with the objectives, find Ara and Feroz among the venthyr forces at the northern entrance to the Catalyst Gardens. Upon completing all three quests, General Draven and Nadjia the Mistblade fly and run into the area.

Feroz says: Who is that?

General Draven says: Maw Walker!

General Draven says: I came the moment Bolvar notified me.

Nadjia the Mistblade says: WE came, Draven. We.
