Objectives

Drink Feroz's solution and crush the automa of the Catalyst Gardens.

Description

Those guardian automa will shoot down anything that attempts to reach the Creation Catalyst.

May I suggest fighting fire with fire? Or rather, fighting the creations of the First Ones with the creation energy of the First Ones?

I have had little time to adequately test my theory, but this potion should provide the boost you need to destroy them... ideally without dying from exposure to the creation energy in the process.

Rewards

You will be able to choose one of these rewards:
Inv cloth broker c 01 chest.png [Scouring Oracular Smock] Inv cloth broker c 01 chest.png [Nova Oracular Smock]
Inv cloth broker c 01 chest.png [Crystallic Oracular Smock] Inv helm leather broker c 01.png [Scouring Cryptic Mask]
Inv helm leather broker c 01.png [Nova Cryptic Mask] Inv helm leather broker c 01.png [Crystallic Cryptic Mask]

You will also receive:

  • 25g 74s
  • 8,150 XP

Progress

Your safety is probable, but not guaranteed.

Completion

It was quite poetic, I think, using their own growth energy against them.

Notes

The effects of Progenitor Growth (with Feroz and Elder Ara for scale).

Talk to Feroz:

You must clear out those big guardian automa for any hope of reaching the Creation Catalyst.
Gossip Bottoms up.
Feroz says: It is working!

The player character drinks a potion that grants them the "Progenitor Growth" effect, massively increasing their size:

Spell progenitor buff.png Progenitor Growth — Infused with Progenitor growth energy. The power is immense.

...as well as a "Tangled Ward" buff:

Spell nature thorns.png Tangled Ward — Attackers are inflicted Nature damage.

...and an Extra Action Button with an 8-second cooldown that switches to a new ability after it is used:

  • Spell lfieblood.png Explosive Growth — Accelerate growth to restore 15% health per 2 sec. Damage and root nearby enemies for 5 sec.
  • Ability animusorbs.png Reforged Nature — Activate nearby forges, tossing them on enemies dealing Cosmic damage to nearby enemies.
  • Ability creature poison 04.png Sprouting Wave — Carnivorous Growths sprout and charge forward lashing all creatures with Nature damage. The larger the enemy the more damage taken.

In this phase, the Gardens are filled with Outmoded Servitors, Overgrown Protectors, Catalyst Defenders, Overgrown Colossi, Overgrown Bulwarks, and Bloomthorn Sentries, all of which add progress to the bar when killed. Even the Colossi are a relatively easy target with the buff's power. General Draven is still where the cutscene left him off, fighting Overgrown Protectors in the central pool.

Upon completion, the Gardens return to their normal phase and Draven comes back and lands in his previous spot to offer N [60] Key Crafting.
