Objectives

Discharge the excess energy of the Creation Catalyst.

• East Console discharged^{[51.65, 91.04]}

Description

That floating structure looming overhead is the Creation Catalyst.

I cannot get close to it. The tower is overloaded with an excess of Progenitor energy. To travel there now would be suicide.

There are consoles in the gardens that can be used to discharge that energy. Do so.

On accept:

General Draven says: Do not let your guard down, <name>.

Upon accepting any of the three quests, Nadjia starts following the player.

Nadjia the Mistblade says: My blade is yours.

When entering combat, she may say:

• Nadjia the Mistblade says: A little landscaping is in order here.
• Nadjia the Mistblade says: So bright. So cheerful. I hate it.

When killing a mob, she may say:

• Nadjia the Mistblade says: Simplicity itself.
• Nadjia the Mistblade says: Ugh. There is sap all over my blade.

The western Catalyst Barrier Console^{[44.22, 88.41]} is guarded by an Overgrown Drifter, while the eastern console^{[51.65, 91.04]} is guarded by a Vine-Choked Protector. In both cases, disabling the console causes a hostile Catalyst Sentry to spawn.

On completion:

General Draven says: We will soon set foot upon this "Creation Catalyst."

After turning in all three quests, a cutscene plays:

Draven, Nadjia, and the Maw Walker walk to the top of the ramp leading down into the gardens.

Nadjia the Mistblade says: And now to craft a strategy...

General Draven says: The strategy is: I go first!

Draven takes off.

Nadjia the Mistblade says: Hey! Get back here!

As the general flies toward the Catalyst, automa on the ground come to life and start firing at him. He manages to dodge several projectiles, but one hits him and sends him crashing into the pool at the center of the Gardens. Back at the ramp, Nadjia, the Maw Walker, and Tactician Sakaa prepare for combat. Draven gets to his feet and prepares to fight as well.
