Resurgence is a talent for Restoration shamans. It grants the shaman mana on each critical [Healing Wave], [Healing Surge], [Riptide], [Unleash Life] or [Chain Heal].

Patch changes

Patch 10.2.0 (2023-11-07): Now restores 20% less mana.
Patch 10.0.7 (2023-03-21): Moved to [Water Shield]'s position in the talent tree (was row 4).
Patch 10.0.0 (2022-10-25): Now a row 4 Restoration talent (was a level 37 Restoration ability).
Patch 9.0.1 (2020-10-13): Now learned at level 37 (was 40).
Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): Mana return for [Chain Heal] reduced from 33% to 25%.
Patch 6.0.2 (2014-10-14): No longer requires Water Shield to be active.
Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Now a level 40 Restoration ability (was a tier 2 Restoration talent).
Patch 4.2.0 (2011-06-28): [Improved Water Shield] has been redesigned and renamed Resurgence. When Water Shield is active, Resurgence causes critical direct heals to restore mana (Resurgence rank 2 is roughly equal to 150% of the old Improved Water Shield value when a [Healing Wave] or [Greater Healing Wave] critically hits, and scaled down accordingly for faster or multi-target spells).
Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Reduced from 3 to 2 ranks and moved from tier 3 to tier 2. Now has a 30/60% chance to trigger from [Healing Surge] instead of [Lesser Healing Wave].
Patch 3.2.0 (2009-08-04): This talent now has a 10/20/30% chance to be triggered by Chain Heal, and the charges of Water Shield are no longer consumed by this talent.
Patch 3.0.8 (2009-01-20): Lesser Healing Wave now has a reduced chance to trigger this talent.
