Remains of a Paladin is a dead human paladin who serves as a quest giver in Uldaman. The paladin's remains are located close to the beginning of the instance on the northern side where the temple is split into four corridors (the paths with right angles) — it is in the latter half of this section.

Talvash del Kissel explained that he made the  [Shattered Necklace] for the paladin, who was on a self-appointed quest to clear out the "evil taint" present Uldaman, until he died in the excavation site. Talvash mentioned that there were rumors that the paladin had been cursed by the necklace, thus sending the adventurer on a quest to re-create the necklace and spread the word that he does not create cursed jewelry.
