Ranid Glowergold is a dwarf Leatherworking and Skinning supplies vendor at Legendary Leathers in Dalaran. He is one of Namha Moonwater's apprentices.
Ranid apparently considers himself to have refined tastes in food, although the cooks of Dalaran know better. When he requests a wine and cheese platter, they send the player to get limburger cheese, known for its pungent odor, and leftover wine from half-empty glasses poured into a wine bottle and served on an old shield. As they suspect, Ranid is oblivious and more than happy with the 'vintage' he was sent.[1]
Legion introduced his twin, Thanid Glowergold.
When Dalaran relocated above Deadwind Pass and the Burning Legion attacked the city, he fought against the demons in the street.
