Power over Poison teaches the young Druid the techniques needed to gain power over poison: the ability to 
[Cure Poison]. While the more advanced spell of 
[Abolish Poison] is more effective, this is nonetheless an interesting and useful chain of quests.
Both Alliance and Horde druids have comparable quest chains. As might be expected, the Alliance quests take place in Darnassus and Darkshore, while the Horde ones take place in Thunder Bluff and The Barrens.
The Power over Poison quest chain
This chain starts in the race's city:
- Horde: Turak Runetotem, in Thunder Bluff
- Alliance: Mathrengyl Bearwalker, in Darnassus
- Lessons Anew (Alliance) (Horde)
Your mentor, having seen you advance in ability, directs you to Dendrite Starblaze in Moonglade, to learn the power druids have over poison. To drive home the importance of the lesson, you will be handling the effects of poisoning the way a layman would.
- The Principal Source (Alliance) (Horde)
Dendrite Starblaze provides a sampling tube and asks you to collect some tainted water, and deliver it to a local druid who had requested the assistance.
- Alliance: from Cliffspring Falls in Darkshore
- Horde: from Dreadmist Peak in The Barrens
You collect the water, and take it to the local contact:
- Alliance: Alanndarian Nightsong in Auberdine
- Horde: Tonga Runetotem in Crossroads
- Gathering the Cure (Alliance) (Horde)
Your contact determines that yes, the water is polluted, and yes, it is affecting the entire region. But there is more to it than that. He asks you to go out and collect some additional materials..

[Lunar Fungus] from the Moonkin caves east of Auberdine in Darkshore. - Both: 5
[Earthroot].
- Curing the Sick (Alliance) (Horde)
Your contact has concocted 10 doses of 
[Curative Animal Salve], which he asks you to apply to the local wildlife (Deer or Gazelle, depending on faction). These are easily identified, and you manage to apply the salve.
Local officials are busy making more of the salve, your job is pretty much done here. Back you go to Dendrite Starblaze.

Starblaze remands you to the mentor who started you on this journey, with the admonition to remember the difficulties faced by the rest of the world.
You return to your mentor, who applauds your efforts, and teaches you a spell that gives you a more permanent power over poison than that given by mere salves and potions.
Rewards
The primary reward is the spell [Cure Poison].
During the course of the quest chain, you will also gain
