Ohgan'aka is the daughter of Ohgan, the pet lashtail raptor of Bloodlord Mandokir. She is necessary for Jin'do the Hexxer's plans to summon Hakkar because he needs Bloodlord Mandokir who needs Ohgan'aka.

History

While questing in Northern Stranglethorn, players come across a raptor hatching that becomes very friendly and follows the player wherever they go. The young raptor will often help with a few quests, until she is taken by the newly resurrected Bloodlord Mandokir.

Priestess Thaalia (Alliance) or Priestess Hu'rala (Horde) offers the player a way to connect with the spirit of Ohgan'aka and attempt to help her escape from Zul'Gurub. During this quest, the Priestess and the raptor itself use the name [player's name]'aka as opposed to Ohgan'aka, what Mandokir and his allies been calling her. Despite a daring escape attempt, the captured Hatchling is discovered by Shade of the Hexxer, exorcising the player's spirit from the hatchling and promising to fully recondition the Hatchling to forget about the player soon.

During the Gurubashi tribe's attack on Stranglethorn Bloodlord Mandokir, mounted on the now undead Ohgan and accompanied by Ohgan'aka, personally leads troll to attack the Horde encampment of Grom'gol Base Camp and the Alliance camp, Rebel Camp. During the assault of Ohgan'aka looks at adventurers with pleading eyes, wanting to be free from Mandokir's control.

However, it seems the little Raptor preserved her individuality, as she is present during the battle against Bloodlord Mandokir, and her undead parent, Ohgan. The player will only be able to see her, and be able to free her if they completed the entire quest chain that lead to her imprisonment in Zul'Gurub. She is chained up until the player goes over to release her, and she is described to be as a little bigger, with more scars from her time imprisoned, but overjoyed that her "Father" or "Mother" (the player), has returned to save her, allowing the player to keep her as a vanity pet. While named officially as a Lashtail Hatching, she carries a title as [player's name]'aka.
