Mastery: Deep Wounds is the Mastery for Arms warriors, improved by the mastery secondary stat.

Patch changes

  • Dragonflight Hotfix (2024-01-22): Damage increased by 15%. Not applied to PvP combat.
  • Dragonflight Hotfix (2023-08-21): damage is no longer reduced in PvP combat (was 28% reduced).
  • Dragonflight Hotfix (2023-06-05): Periodic damage increased by 5%.
  • Dragonflight Hotfix (2023-05-15): Damage increased by 15% in PvP Combat.
  • Shadowlands Patch 9.0.1 (2020-10-13):
    Old: Deep Wounds damage is increased by 90%. Striking an enemy with Mortal Strike, Cleave, Execute, or Ravager/Bladestorm inflicts Deep Wounds.
  • Battle for Azeroth Patch 8.2.0 (2019-06-25): Damage bonus increased by 12%.
  • Battle for Azeroth Hotfix (2018-09-10): Damage to enemy players reduced by 25%.
  • Battle for Azeroth Hotfix (2018-08-16): 1 point of Mastery now increases Deep Wounds damage by 10% (was 1%).
  • Battle for Azeroth Patch 8.0.1 (2018-07-17): Added, replacing [Mastery: Colossal Might].
